Hi, I need advice regarding compatibility of transmissions that will go into a '95 Subary Legacy 250T wagon. Are all similarly aged 'boxes good to go, or do the type numbers have to match exactly!

first of all look for a box newer than 95' most should just bolt up. pre 95 boxes are rubish
