Is that legal?

Think they are just storage covers for them.

WOF place I go to has a notice up (for the inspectors) saying they're not WOF-able unless they have the standards marking - and tinted tail-lights aren't WOF-able because the lights have been "tampered with". Specifically, "covered with anything" is mentioned.

It says"covers" in the auction, and you can clearly see the front ones off and then on.

This is correct, illegal, no tints or painted head or rear lights. Should not be issued with a WOF like that. You do not have to see standard markings for a WOF but do for entry level compliance.

The lack of having to see the standards is a shame since it means those stupid ricer lights dont get pinged for being ugly hard to see crap.

Mind you, they dont seem to enforce the must be alligned properly part of the WOF either for headlights :(
