Toyota might come to the party and do it for free. He rang me the next day to say bring it in whenever and it would be done for free. Job done yesterday- no charge

Nothing to do with seat belt. Clock Spring located under driver air bag and horn assembly. I watched the guy do the job. No biggy if ya know what you doing.

go to toyota, they are still covering this issue with vehicles that are out of warranty, conditions apply to that, but they can tell you straight away if toyota will cover it, they may do a combo of they supply the part you pay labour
