We are thinking of buying a motor home but it is front wheel drive, 2.3 diesel. how do they drive, we are very new to this

no problem my mercer is 6,5 meter and its front driven its been offroad with previous owner no problem

Sounds like a Ducato based Motorhome with the tasty Multijet engine. They drive beautifully, surprisingly powerful and good on the gas. Very reliable too.
Just remember with all those common rail motorhomes, you have enormous torque so don't slip the clutch and never ever ever take off in second gear.
Start doing that and you will butcher your expensive clutch in no time.
