Careful, others may start rumours.

perfectly.frank, Jun 22, 10:22pm
That its a really good place to hide from people in the Disgustin and Genral Bored Rooms .

Hi john-boy and bellsky-bubs .

bellky, Jun 22, 10:48pm

I've learned that no Jappa ever breaks down but every Euro does and every car old or new produced in the UK is absolute total rubbish.

I have also learned that the worst engine ever made is the Rover K series, therefore no car so equipped, with more than 25,000kms on the clock, must have had the speedo clocked - forwards.

I have also learned that some of the contributors many take the mickey out of are in fact very nice guys.

I have also learned that there are some extremely witty people on here and some of the threads are more entertaining than any NZ made TV programme.

bellky, Jun 22, 11:24pm
You're too kind.

upnorth, Jun 22, 11:55pm
I've read here many times that 91 petrol gets you nowhere and isn't worth buying so how come my Corolla 1500 manual wagon has got through the 1000km mark from its 50l tank more than once!

nightboss, Jun 23, 12:02am
I have also learned that if a car is relisted 15 times without selling (even if it reaches reserve a few of those times) it is the fault of the message board stirrers. Not because the current owner is a complete waste of DNA.

bellky, Jun 23, 12:07am
I agree with you.

zirconium, Jun 23, 2:15am
except if its a car you bought! :)

grangies, Jun 23, 2:23am
And the funny thing is. In truth it's actually the other way round.

perfectly.frank, Jun 23, 2:38am
That the Motoring MB . is a heck of a lot easier to understand . becos there are facts and figures . and nuts and bolts . and lots of other stuff . involved . which makes Motoring Forum threads . much easier to understand . and far less emotionally scrambled . than "Who-Dunnit" Threads . in the General Bored Room .

bigfatmat1, Jun 23, 3:16am
let it go!

nightboss, Jun 23, 4:24am
NEVER.

And why don't you mind your own biz.

treachug, Jun 23, 4:35am
With point number 3 dont you mean 'never admit to owning anything thats not a Toyota'!

thejazzpianoma, Jun 23, 4:38am
Silly wives tails, cliche's and what the other sheep are doing will trump facts, figures and common sense every time.

mugenb20b, Jun 23, 4:42am
Some wives have tails!

thejazzpianoma, Jun 23, 4:50am
I have also learned spelling trumps content every time.

perfectly.frank, Jun 23, 5:01am
In response to your three points above . bellsky-bubs:-

Agree .

Absolutely .

Dont Know . becos I dont know much about "jazz-piano" ma's or pa's . aside from Billy Joel .

outbidyou2, Jun 23, 7:39am
Shush up John

perfectly.frank, Jun 23, 8:39am
I agree . john-boy . some people in the Disgustin Bored Room . have long brown arms .

whqqsh, Jun 23, 2:55pm
7,dont generalise. if you say one hour as a ballpark figure it WILL be picked up on, you MUST say 39minutes & 23 seconds & even then youll be hounded because someone is able to do the same in 1minute 15 seconds (they time these things in their world)
8, anything you say, or any minute detail left out, will be taken in the worst possible way, taken to the extreme &/or used to jump to the most inane conclusion
