Hey just need some advice about tyres, I have a WOF next week and need new tyres the code i can find on them is 205 50r16 87v and was looking on trademe for possible new tyres can anyone help me and see which are the cheapest/best option for me thanks.

What are they on! What sort of driving- commute or touring! What sort of speeds!

they are on a mazda sp20, just often driving and sometimes commute a long drive couple times a month.

Knockers, have a google of the quality - I laughed at Sunnys until I found people running them on cars worth about 20X what our old bmw is worth. at $89+ a tyre for 235/35/18's & 15000km later they still look great, match that to the Dunlop Direzza's we had before - NEVER again / stepped out at any opportunity & wore like nobodys business

just means they broke not that the tyres any good,chinese tyres are rubbish,Go Korean like hankook or Kumho good quality and good price too no compromise
