has top hose has a small split where it clamps to the engime,do i have to bleed the radiator or just undo,replace and top radiator back up,its a 1999 mitsi lancer wagon if that helps,cheere

Not sure, but I always bleed the cooling system whenever I change hoses. It doesn't take long.

Just change it fill it up, run the engine a bit , or a few times and check the levels for a while. It will be fine, fill up your overflow bottle.
