A mate truck.Had cracked head so he a new head fitted, new radiator, new cap and thermostat. Now has very fine white foaming and forces coolant into overflow reservoir. Anybody got ideas of the foaming ! . cleaning chemical maybe !. will be doing several flushes to try improve maybe

1. Did you torque the cylinder head bolts correctly! 2. Did you use new head bolts! 3. Change the viscous hub on the radiator fan. 4. Take the car to a garage and ask them to carry out a TK head check.

Hey cheers for your reply, I didn't do the job so not sure what went on, I do recall the owner saying there was new head studs in the head kit. It does the foaming from stone cold too.

hey I have just found out the dick topped up the overflow bottle with windscreen washer fluid. he put it in the wrong hole !

Has he replaced or correctly adjusted his viscous!If not he might as well order another head now.
