3 rd party insurance

why do insurance companies not offer a 3 rd party policy that covers the driver and not the car. someone crashes your car and insurance doesnt pay up because there not on the policy . holders of 1 of these policies could get cheaper rental cars you would only need 1 policy and have as meny cars as you wanted and only inshure the ones that are worth it

Interesting concept.Problem as I see it is that at present the insurance cover is attached to the assest covered in this case the car.same applies to House and Contents and also life insurance.you are suggesting a cover that has no fixed assets or item.

As a concept I think its a good idea.Now to find an insurance company that agrees.

Haha, the 'asset covered' in this case is not covered at all is it with 3rd Party insurance - it's the driver's actions while driving that car that's covered.

Just don't let anyone under 25 or without a license drive your car.

Take out a public liability insurance( if you can for personalaccidents )Need it in businessincase damage others property .
