Hi there, need four tyres for Subaru Forester, Most driving is motorway on the daily commute so I was wondering what these are like! Been quoted $135.00 fitted and balanced but unsure on the Chinese tyre quality!

I have found you get what you pay for. Usually wet grip is terrible and road noise is horrid.

Hi Kdiddy, work in Wellington and live in Upper Hutt.
I used to work for beaurepaires and found that for lower budget tyres a brand called Geotred were popular. They are made by Goodyear but are much much cheaper. Id go to them for those tyres. I often fitted them to commodores and a few falcons etc. drove a few cars for wheel alignment test drive, and they aren't noisy or anything.

Have just bought 4 x 215/60R16 MICHELIN PRIMACY LC off trade me for $600 / $150 each. Brand new off a tyre and wheel swap on a new car sale. Be interesting to see how they compare to the current Yokohama's!
