Tyres sizes

Ok I have gone completely blank
My car has low profile Tyres(hat them noisy dam things and feel every bump) 195/50R/15
So is the standard radial Tyre a 195/60/15!

No, they are not an equivalant, what sort of car! Is there a sticker inside the drivers door jamb stating the factory size! It probably is 195/50 x 15.

Very possibly 60 or 65 profile

195/50R15 is bumpy and noisy! Maybe spend more than $100 a tyre.

They were on it when I brought it.
It is a 1999 Mitsu Mirage Dingo

might be suspension related not tires!.I run 215x45x17 on a performance car and have no road feel/noise probs because of that profile.

195/50 R15 is the correct size for a Dingo, you could fit some 14" rims with 195/60 R14 tyres to gain a bit more sidewall. 195/60 R15 on the existing 15" rims will be far too large.

you best check that the 14 " rims dont mesh with the brake calipers 1st !
