My daughter drives a car that is registered in my name but she effectively owns it. I pay third party insurance on it only. She has a restricted licence. She did a stupid thing in the carpark and rammed into another vehicle. Is being charged for careless use.
Will the car insurance pay out on the damage for the other vehicle! Am with NZI. Have not heard anything yet from the other party but they will be ringing soon no doubt.

sounds like insurance fraud to me.if she owns it why has she not insured it!

Is she down as a listed driver!
Otherwise you might be screwed.
Don't worry about what horsy said - My wife effectively paid for our car, and it's registered & insured under my name.

"She didn't wanta get the tickets!"

yes you should be ok as long as she is listed as a driver.

At the time of the "accident" was the driver complying with ALL of the conditions of her restricted license !
