Theres a catch with Triumph wheel nuts, they are HUGE. They are NOT your std common O/D size nuts like most other english cars of that age, well really, pretty much not like ANY cars of that age

Thats what i was thinking as well.I agree 7/16 but UNF or NF cause thats two different systems.Being British it should be UNF but being British Leyland means it's a wonder it has a thread at all (LOL)

Thread size& type should be pretty std across the range of vehicles of that age of most english/ american brands but it's the OD outside thats big on those triumphs. Standard's (small car models) were the total opposite being really small & prone to snapping.

Ok thanks for the help guys, all I have in my tub of wheel nuts seems to be 12x1.25, 12x1.5 and some in a bag which are off an old Holden which in size seems to be slightly larger than these studs(yes apart from the fact they are wrong type of thread anyway). I managed to track down about 8 today but they are not the best looking and don't all match in size anyway(some are 3/4 and some are 13/16) so pfemstn I could be keen on sorting some sort of deal with you for some if you want!
