The Kellys are bringing in new personnel for the Nissan team. Too hard to predict what the likely outcome of new chassis, new engine, new transmission and new personnel will have on the results at the end of races.

Craig Lowndes took time out from v8s to race in Europe, probably was a worthwhile for the experience he gained.

you do know that all the chassis come from the same design transmissions are the same the only difference is engine (which will all be mapped the same) and body panels all race teams will be in the same boat new cars for everyone

Well that, and with that little factor called the driver.

From what happened to him in lap 1 today, he's being screwed by outright incompetant strategy in the Team, and has been happening to him all season. He's better off out of it for a while.
splinter67,

that was yesterday wait till the last lap then it gets interesting and his car wasnt that bad considering he qualified 4th and he apologized to the poor bugger he hit that stopped his race
rsr72,
Nov 18, 1:42pm
-Yesterday. He should not have been put back in the middle of the field, a receipe for disaster there, on lap 1 after starting solidly in 3rd. Typical wrong strategy as evident all season.

hooray pit stop racing. new driver required.no experience or ability needed, just stop and go when told. thrilling stuff.

bill-robinson,
Nov 18, 5:05pm
well there were pitstop races with the F1 circus in the early 70's which was before you were born I take it. They were a waste of time then as they are now
jarrod261,
Nov 18, 5:23pm
Not quite, Look at what Wincup done today. He got put at the back of the field because of a drive through penalty half way through the race, Finished the race in 3rd.
splinter67,
Nov 18, 5:26pm
I was born in 67 you old bugger
splinter67,

As much as I admire the guy's talent, it will be no great loss.As it would be, if in fact all 30 or so of the current drivers left, by lunchtime tomorrow each team would have replacements on board, There is a never ending supply of drivers with equal or even more talent just waiting for the call.

Of course it is still going, how do you think Mitch Evans got to where he is.As for Gizz ,he may like a change of scenery especially if he thinks quad bikes are the go.

This is the closest to the mark comment in the whole thread. Even Jimmy packed it in at Bathurst after that disaster.
splinter67,

luke Youlden went well in the car at bathurst it wasn't until the gizz got in it that it turned to crap were you watching another race
gemmigem,
Nov 19, 7:38am
What ever the outcome of the gizz's future ( and I hope he does come back ) it will be interresting to see how long Erebus racing go when they take over SBR totally.
mopsy3,

You are such a tosser. The team stuffed up the lap count for Luke and had to pull Shane out of the car and put Luke back in it.
splinter67,

your the tosser look at the lap times then you will see
