my electric drivers window on the vt holden has been acting up lately but tonight it went down and wont come back up, the motor is working but the window just wont move. Any suggestions!

the regulator plastic sliders have broken causing the arms to pop out of the tracks which are attached to the bottom of the window. The door card needs to be removed and new sliders placed into the tracks then squeezed onto the arms

My first guess too. Have a vx and when this happened to me it was the window switches themselves, but I had no whirling , motor turning noise. First 1 rear window and month later 1 front one. 1 second hand switch in rear and new aftermarket cluster in center console.
