For a 2004 told to use the 95 yetgrandson who is a Honda mechanic says 91 is ok. What do others think!

The price difference is only like 2%, may as well use 95 if there's any doubt. Personally I reserve 91 for lawnmowers only.

I wouldn't run it in lawnmowers either. The reason being is lawnmower fuel tends to get stored a bit, as the fuel is stored it loses octane. Combine with a small engines lesser ability to adjust itself to run on a lower octane than it's designed for.
I prefer to start with higher octane and if its lost a bit by the second month of storage then it doesn't matter so much. That said, I don't suggest you use this as an excuse to store small engine fuel more than 3 months.
