Can anyone give me thje pros and cons regarding the 2 and 2.4 litre engines in the RAV4.I don't know which one to go for. Any advice would be appreceated. Sorry! I can't edit the heading back to 2.4 litre.

2.4 Rav 4 is newer, so go for that one. Just be aware that not all RAV 4s are 4wd. Very expensive cars imo.

i would buy a multipla over a rav4 and a suzuki diesel 2003 over the rav4X4 both cheaper cars, rav4 automatic trans blow up front axle brake off on older models plus its a horribile permanet 4x4.

If I was getting a 4 door I would get a 2.4L as the motor has to power alot more weight.

Depends on what you are using it for.If just you and a passenger, then prob the 2 litre ok but if doing any towing or loading up with the family, I would go for the 2.4.The 2.4 is a good engine with plenty of power though does like the fuel around town. If fuel usage isn't an issue, go with the 2.4.
