Shut it and at some random interval it will pop open again.
When its been shut it doesn't seem to have any movement in it but it still opens.
Rather annoying.
What to look for please.

check the locking mechanism is actuarly working and not stiff and sticking

bit of crc or equivalant on the latch would be my first port of call

Does it have an alarm with a hatch release button.

No alarm. There's a release lever beside the drivers seat. It seems to be working well. I'll take a good look at it as soon as the rain stops. No shed handy to do it in.

Found the problem so thought I'd share in case others need to know.
There's a CRACK in the floor where the drivers seat bolts onto it. Movement of the seat causes pulling on the floor which in turn pulls on the nearby hatch release lever opening the hatch.
Going to get it welded.
