2012 or 2014? due to the fact the 2014 has a reversing camera. Has anyone had any problems with visibility with the 2012?

You can very easily fit a reversing camera for under $200 to just about any car. Just do a search on trademe for 'fitted reversing camera'.
Anyway, in my opinion the new 2013 onward wedge shape Corolla does have worse visibilty that the older one. Not by too much though and nothing to worry about.

New shape is much better car to drive, and to look at thought that's personal. Driven both and didn't notice any viability problems, though reversing cameras are really good.

Agree with the above, for some reason the newer cars only have a porthole for a back window to look out the back so the camera is handy. New shape WAY nicer drive than old.
