the drivers window winds down fine . but will only wind up part way then starts 'jumping' or 'bouncing' and wont go up any further.also the rear left window does this occasionally. whats involved in fixing this!

Window Regulators. Do you find you can pull it up or kind of push it up with the pressure of your hand against it!
New Genuine ones are quite expensive, but there are aftermarket options out there.

yes we can liftthe window . whats involved in replacing them!(do i need specialist tools) where to look for aftermarket parts that are going to be at least as good as the genuine part! not that they were much good

I can't say, we source aftermarket parts ourselves as our genuine ones are too expensive but Trademe have a problem with us putting business names on here :/
Door card off. Will either be phillips or torx screws. small thin blade screwdriver for popping out grommets and unplugging plugs etc. 5x 10mm bolts holding the reg + motor assembly in. Some tape to hold the window up and a long flat blade screwdriver to pop the clips out that hold the regulator to the window glass.

put the offending windows down and give the channels they run in a good spray with silicone, cycle the glass up and down several times and repeat, see if that improves it. Do the other ones while youare at it,
