do some research i got a few professional tools from germany anda few pirate copy one from DX.com you get support for pro tools likei got volkswagen rosstech and the advancedversion of elm german developer tool and then i got a blootooth pirate copy from dx that i run on my android phone free downloadcardoctor or something would have to look it up. Do your research of all tools maybe that tool you posted is actuarly from dx.com and sold on here for profit, you enver know see if its got support for software or not that usually tells .

snap like i said you might as well get it from dx with credit card if you want that or look for better tools that are non pirated . non pirate stuff is about 250$ for the likes of unicarscan that is the german maker of the elm tool and they got beta development for bmw. if you want to go that wayand support actual developer of tools.

The E38 and E39 are very similar mechanically and electrically. You can remove the speed limiters (on the E38 at least)to lift the top speed from 150mph to 165.WINOLS is the software package for remaps, but you have to know a fair bit about computers as well as cars.
I have lifted this from the Bimmerforums site: 1. Galetto 1260 Cable from ebay ( $12 from China ) 2. Galetto 1260 Software ( Internet Research ) 3. 14v @ 70 - 90 AMP Power Supply ( Amazon, $360 ) 4. TunerPro/TunerPro RX ( Free ) or Winols Tuning Program ( $$$$$ ) 5. DONE 0. Hook up 14v @ 80 AMP Power Supply! 1. Read ECU File ( 3 mins & 50 secs )( 32kb files size! ) 2. COPY ECU FILE & Save! 3. Open ECU File as .bin file 4. Change max speed on Bosch DME 5.2.1 ( 97's & 98's ), From 128mph to 300mph ( basically in theory removing the speed limiter. ) and 165.5 is fast as the M62 & a 4,800 lbs lux o barge will get ya! 5. Change any other maps you wish, ( Fuel, Ignition, Timing, Revs x 1000, Etc ) 6. Save NEW ECU .bin File 7. Re-Write NEW .bin file to Bosch 5.2.1 ECU ( 3 Mins & 50 Sec )(32kb file! ) 8. REMOVE 14v @ 80 AMP Power Supply 9. DONE Enjoy 165.5 mph! ( Watch out for Highway Patrol! )( Valentine 1 )( BOTH Hands on Steering Wheel )( NO LANE CHANGES)
