only the original plus the master cilinder replacment i think you done that , you can get a refund on the faulty slave and unfortunately the supplyer wont pay for your labour and neither should the client for the secound time. Well thats what i would charge. put the full job on the paperwork showing 0 charge for the secound time, so you can hopfully file it as loss in your tax return.

The original clutch (& concentric slave) job was it turns out in November and has obviously been billed out and paid. I'm just interested what others think is fair.

ok so its not failed instantly then what milage since then! i would calculate the milage done as to what the cost is for the job then . lets say 150,000km for replacment again if he done 75k since then you charge him 50% of the job, talk it over with the client also as i assume you want to keep him coming back.
