Hey My Mazda SP20 just failed it's WOF on Rear right brake caliper and i'm just wondering if anyone knows a rough price range for this bought and put on!. I got quoted 300.00 including labor and am just seeking any other options.

Is that to replace the caliper! Or just pads! Or an imbalance! Or! If its to replace the caliper and pads, including labour then I reckon thats pretty fair.

yeah needs replacing since its leaking! So it was for a second half caliper and labor $300.00

Depending on how much the S/H caliper is as to whether thats fair. Shouldn't be more then an hour job, replacing the caliper + bleeding brakes + brake fluid.
That price would be reasonable if they were overhauling your current caliper, which would be a better option IMO.

you might be better to get your one overhauled its a common problem with them and with second hand it may do it again
