Front brake pads

-cloud, Jan 16, 2:01pm
Hey there, just wondering regarding front brake pads. Does it not matter what pads are place inner/outer of the rotor or left/right of the car!

Just curious as i purchased some znoelli pads, but all 4 pads look identical to me!
Thanks

Yea those pads can go in in any position.

What is the purpose of the chamfer on the leading and trailing edges of those pads, with wear over time the chamfer will vanish well before the pads are due for replacement.

in your case any pad can be fitted anywhere normally there is 1 on each pair different but not yours so just fit em mix and match

The chamfer is there to prevent chattering/vibraition/squeelin-
g during the bedding in prosess

Those pads are not handed anyway - they're all exactly the same.

As with previous comments, they are not an inner/outer or L/R style so will fit anywhere.
For what its worth they are a bloody good pad. Great stopping and bugger all dust.
