I have a VW Bora, just a tiny bit of rust appearing on the corner of a door etc . what is the best way to fix this myself, never done these repairs before.Many thanks.

post a picture of where it is! bora is fully galvanised so rust wont be everywhere normally as with ungalvanised cars who show some rust.

Hiya, this is the picture.Just a strip on the edge of the door .
you will need a tutchup paint can made up then you use some fine paper 1600 wet on a block and clean the rust dry it off and then apply the tutchup paint fine on to the edge and let it dry for 24h if possibile inside in a coveredgarage. Thats about it for that job. if its silver like my one it be called reflex silver the paint paint number is usually in boot on a sticker near spear tyre. if its that gilltrap might have it also. http://www.amazon.com/Genuine-Volkswagen-Reflex-Silver-Metallic/dp/B0094X3XW6
