Nissan Largo

been offered what ay or may not be a good deal on a van as a runabout - mostly for use to get to work and back.

just wondered what info I can get on them?
94 largo, 2.4 engine. thats about all I know so far. looks reasonable tidy, and had recent service - yet to find out exactly what 'service' constitutes though.

any thoughts? ok and worth investigating further, or stay away?

tigertim---think nissan serena with a bigger engine. They were an ok van in their day.

so no major issues to be wary of, or tendancy to fail in a particular area later in life?

they were a damn fine wagon, issues if any were dry bottom knuckles in the front, when they start creaking drill the end cap and fit a small grease nipple, the 2.4 petrol used 8 plugs? ( dual ignition ) or was that only the 2lt ones

late life crisis was often rust under the front, back of the light buckets etc, but if you find it before the wof lads do its not hard to fix without needing a cert

Price dictates whether or not its a great deal.

KA24DE had extra spark plugs, but most likely its an SR20DE so its an OK motor.
