phalanax, I did over 300,000 kilometres on an 80 series Landcruiser diesel turbo. Much of it towing heavy loads and much of that over the Rimutakas. It never missed a beat. I put a small oil cooler on the trans. And there's not much will keep up with it. A 100 series would be just as good. Have just clocked over 260,000 km on my 100 and it's still going strong. Landcruisers, you can't beat them.

The newer Jeeps are pretty well known to be the least reliable vehicles on the road!
