My 4wd V6 Mitsi Challenger has started to do it quite regularly. My other half's petrol commodore used to do this as well, he said he changed spark plugs and it didn't make a difference. A diesel mechanic friend suggested it could be the fuel injector if it is electronically fuel injected (not sure!) or a blockage in a fuel line, not sure what else. It's due for a warrant next week so will be getting looked at, would like some idea of what could be causing it before hand though.

Not 100% sure, my fiance normally drives it but I brought it to work this morning. Didn't do it at all till I stopped at an intersection and then started, and then as I was speeding up (open road driving)

Thanks, not holding my breath that the local (rural town) mechanic will know but I guess its a good starting point
