They are good cars overall but really are too small in the body to be referred to as a proper people mover IMO.

Pete--NO issues of any sort. The 2006 model has the same engine as the Mazda Axella 2.0l They are a HUGE improvement over the first generation space wise and fuel economy wise They are a direct competitor to the Toyota Wish/ Isis and second generation Honda stream. The Only Issue is that they are really a 6 seater with a small seat in the middle that folds out when you need an extra.

I've got an 05 with the 2.3 engine and it has been good so far. Drove a 2 litre and it felt too under powered for my liking. Sliding doors were a huge go and having 2 kids under 2 this is one of the main reasons we bought it. They do seem to wear tires out pretty fast though even after a wheel alignment the rear wheels have alot of camber still
