Hi I bought a Nissan Sylphy 2004 from a registered dealer etc earlier this week and in the boot it has a dvd navigation system wired in, any ideas on the best way to remove it? It doesn't have to be removed if it's too hard but removing it would be good

I would go back to the dealer and have a chat with them they may do it for free while you have a coffee

It will unscrew from the brackets.

It's wired in so might have to take it back to the dealer and see what they suggest, was just hoping it was just gonna be a simple unplug and remove but don't wanna do any damage

sea chelle--have you checked to see if you have a reversing camera? It popps up in the centre of the dashtop. If you do then that might need to stay--if you like the rc of course

I'll have to double check, however I don't think it does have a reversing camera.

If it does you will have a three level centre console.-Kind of like three radios stacked on top of each other. Biottom one is ac etc Middle one is the radio and top one is GPS/reversing camera. bottom left of the top "radio" is a button that says "open" Push that button and if you have a reversing camera the screen will open up.-put the car in reverse and the camera lights up
