They get good reviews here every time they come up. Smooth grunty and get a decent five speed auto instead of four speed the fours have.

good thing i know is subaru has the worlds cheapest factory diagnostic software i think 300$ us per year with the j25-34 new standard for diagnostic.

Suspension bushes front arm rear lower. No biggie and easy to do. Pretty popular car not so much in the 6. Probably because people are concerned about economy. They don't give any problems as far as I am aware. I find them boring and prefer the up spec legacy. I guess it depends on what purpose you buy it for. Outback has higher ground clearance and less features. I have 3 subarus. Love em.all
