I would be really annoyed if a cars auto dies at that age/mileage. hopefully it was treated rough and thrashed otherwise car makers should be ashamed of that

So is that vehicle economically repairable?
And how readily available are spare parts on those, and would mechanics know how to work on them? They'd be pretty simple vehicles, so I guess unlike Euros, independent technicians should be able to figure them out easily enough.

About four months ago I sold a perfectly good chery, 2012 done 26000km for 5 grand so the geely would be worth even less than that in top condition. I see no one is willing to pay even $500 for it. I suspect it is worth scrap value.

If anyone had a spare Honda K24 (or similar) engine and trans sitting around, it could make a damn funny sleeper for the import drag races. Imagine spanking V8 holdens at Nightwars in a Geely.
