Got a short arse.Daihatsu ute, what to fit

or what will fit,junk,d the big block 600cc that was fitted, Now ok,they are only a wee 3 cyl,there is a shit load of room under the cab for maybe a (dare isay it) A subaru,auto,weld up the front diff an poke the power out the back,don,t know. A bike motor might do but to get good hp gotta go hibusa but the budget doe,snt extend that much,this is an will end up a toy to skid with at the drags etc. Any help or ideas are welcome. as I say it is a real short rse.how long is an high is a 3.8 holden an auto?no rotaries cos I don,t like chook cooka,s(even tho they are small)cheers to all comment,s and advice AJ

if it was me I'd look up what the non K class version came out with.
Toyota/Diahatu will definitely have a bigger engine version so it'll be a heck of a lot easier to transplant than an alternative

Yes electric. Simple to install, relatively. Instant torque that will spin wheel instantly. Plus it's novel.
