How much could I ask for it ? 160 clicks and a few Super market carpark dings/scratches.No rust and never fails a warrant.

Give it a good groom inside and out and see how you go at 2500, people are still prepared to pay silly money for them as daily commuters or first cars, especially if manual.

$2000 - $3000. Never underestimate the public attitude towards low mileage Toyota's. There is still a lot of demand for perceived reliability that overcomes a Toyota's age.

I can vouch for this as I have owned several over the years and had a brilliant run from ALL of them. $2k to $2.5k is a good safe starting point depending on year and distance traveled but with 160,000kms mentioned the figure mentioned is a fair assessment for a starting point, your call though. good luck.

I got $2k for a '96 GL with 280km, tidy wee runner with a wee ding in the passenger door.

gmphil, Oct 19, 10:47am
as above groom take good photos should get 2500 or there abouts

There is a hatchback and also a lift back and they are quite different looking. Not many have the 1600 motor is that a 4age.

tgray, Oct 21, 4:49pm
If I had it, I would be putting $1995 firm on it.

vtecintegra, Oct 21, 4:54pm
Nope, there were loads of 1.6s mostly the 4A-FE

sw20, Oct 21, 5:03pm
The GL is the one to get as the 1300cc 2E engine in the XL model is a bit shit, less power, same fuel economy as the GL's 1600cc 4AFE.

luigi21, Oct 21, 6:43pm
I will check which motor it has soon.

pebbles61, Oct 21, 7:04pm
