BF XR6 Falcon shudder when taking off, does not do it if you take off gently. Was told it was suspension bushes have replaced them, does not do it when you put your foot down once you are rolling, any ideas please

It's a ford.
Can be anything and everything.
Start with Suspension rubbers and parts.

I thought it was the doughnut thingie on the driveshaft that caused the shudder in those.

BF will have the ZF Transmission
Would be interested when serviced and what Fluid was used
Sounds like something in the drive line

Are you sure you haven't got the flaps down?

Mid drive shaft mount would be a good place to start.

Yep check the drive shaft center bearing first. The rubber has probably deteriorated from around the bearing. If its vibrating when driving at constant speed the CV joint on the rear of the drive shaft may be worn

also check the trans cooler hasn't failed contaminating the trans oil with coolant (common on these), the trans oil will have to be tested as you cant normally see oil colour changed, if it is contaminated the trans will require a full rebuild

BF XR6 what? Whether its a sedan or ute will make a big difference as to what could be wrong IF its a suspension or driveline fault. It may even be a misfire causing an issue like that.
