Both expired by 6 months, was told today you can get a rego before wof on a trailer, I know with a car you get the wof first, thanks for your advice.

you can get plates with no wof and rego the trailer, just make it a new home built and you get 1 year wof they hand you the plate at AA from under the counter.

Don't need a wof to licence trailer. And because a trailer isn't subject to continuous licencing like a car, you won't be backdated 6 months. The license period will begin from the date you renew it.

Just got a WOF for a trailer that hasn' t been registered for 3 years, mainly to see if it would pass before forking out for rego. ( its now registered )

Just to correct a comment. If you register as new home built you get a 3 yr warrant.

Could be cheaper to do that every 3 years then.
