Do you mean asphalt?
If so buy a can of engine degreaser from Repco / Supercheap / spray on / gently scrub / hose off.

Do not use a solvent based cleaner otherwise your asphalt will be removed as well as the stain!

Pacer make a product called Multi Plus, I've use it straight on oil marked hot mix with good results. We t the area then poor a little on, give it a wee scrub and wash off. As said by Sanders4 you need to be very careful when not to use solvents as they eat asphalt. Pacer have a branch in Christchurch

Don't use a can of $3 degreaser from Supercheap. Tried some a few weeks ago and as stated above started to soften the asphalt.
