Anyone know how hard it is to change a wiper motor

Yes. It's a bit of a pain in the ar$e, because you have to remove the wiper arms (easy enough), then the scabbard board (a bit tricky), and finally, the wiper linkages (that's nasty to refit - best with 2 blokes doing it), to get at the motor. I'd also recommend checking the play in the linkages between the two wipers, because they do tend to wear, and once they do, your blades will be trying to wipe the side windows as well.
