hi i have a 1995 mazda 323 station wagon,suddenly the heater fan motor only will work on highest speed which is number 4. what is the problem and how to fix please.

I had the exact same issue with a wee 1996 mazda 323 s/w I had. Only worked on speed 4. 100% the issue is the heater fan resistor as mentioned. Sits just behind and below the glove box. Really easy to replace by memory just a couple of screws(?). Just ask at a few wreckers or ones scraping for parts here on trademe- mine cost $30 delivered.
