Car Alarm going Off

I have a Ford Mondeo which has a car alarm fitted. The frustrating thing is, is the alarm keeps going off at all times of the day & night, even when it isnt set. Is there any way I can disarm it ?. Better still can anyone suggest a decent car alarm dealer (preferably in Napier) who I can take it to to check or disarm.
Cheers.

What state is the CAR battery in?.
What brand of alarm?
MOST alarms have a key you can use to turn off the siren. But that only fixes the noise not the fault.

Have you got a spare key/control in the drawer?
If so, take the battery out of it.
Also check the battery in the key/control that you are using. There could be seepage around the battery, so change it anyway.

You need to tell us if it's after market or original.

Haha sorry all aok now. Booked it into an auto electrician today and they found the bonnet sensor was stuffed. I just asked them to disable the alarm all together. They even provided us with the stereo code so pretty happy.

So was it aftermarket or original?

I know of many alarm actuators/keys tucked away in drawers that have set alarms off coz the batteries have leaked. Mine included.
Common problem.
