Yes. Not big performer with the 4 cylinder engine but it's a nice engine and very well proven mechanics. As with any BMW service history is important. Lovely drivers car with great steering and balance with being only rear drive hatchback. Bugger all rear seat legroom though.

Bugger all room anywhere inside, and visibility isn't great
Pretty good buying now though, although I'd be tempted to get a moreowerful one.

Across the range, the rear seat legroom is terrible- I recall even Top Gear back in the day slamming them for the poor use of interior space.
And you really do want to look at the 120i, not the 118 or dare I say it, the 116. They drive SO much better and resale in the future will be better too.
