Nissan March

I've heard of some pretty serious rust issues with those cheaper model NIssans - even though the car is complied I'd tread carefully.

Brothers, uncles, sisters, daughter?

SOME marches have an issue with rust on the firewall. Its at the centre is on a horizontal surface right in the middle of the firewall/engine bay--a mirror down under there will show if its there or been repaired.
I'd recommend the 1400cc one if you can find one
personal experience with buying them and mrs kaz has owned a couple

With the four speed auto both models are pretty bad

In auto I just dunno. They get up and go ok but they seem to use more fuel than a lil car should.
My problem Is I compare them to a Vitz or a demio and they just don't add up in my mind.

They have issues with timing chain stretch, common fault on Nissans around this age.

Firewall seam rust
Head gaskets can be problematic
Auto's are very poor
Cam chains stretch
Electric power steering gives issues.

Personally, I would not buy one.
