im wanting a 7seater suv pref diesel as I see petrol sucks up the $$. I have a 7seater car not enoying it at all, wanting to be up higher and tow only a trailer. Any ideas? please be kind lol.

Toyota LandCruiser Prado, get a late model one, not some abused pig. Regardless of what you end up buying, get a pre purchase inspection done first.

Nissan safari or landcruizer, if smaller budget look at Isuzu. Jeeps, All depends on your budget, Toyota prado is New Zealands favorite, Hyundai Sante fe is excellent and huge seller in Australia, You wil get a large number of posts here, take it all with a grain of salt, What do your friends have? any known mechanics recommendations? Your budget will be the biggest telling factor of where to start. Cheers.
