Iv just brought a 200sx and im planing on manual converting it. I habe all the parts i need that i know of. Can the starter motor from the 20det auto gearbox be used with the manual box or do i need a manual started motor? its a 1998

I would just take the starter off and see if it bolts to the manual bell housing,i wouldn't think theres a difference between auto and manual. are you changing the pedal box etc ?. I did this to a mazda 323 . but the other way. auto into manual. it worked well.

i am also changing mine from auto to manual, am waiting to get it done in 1 or 2 days so i can get back on the raod so was hoping to find out if i would need to order the part before work started
