HZwagon v8 diff

anybody know what diff will bolt straight into a HZ wagon,350 chev with 350 turbo trans. or where I can find a LSD V8 holden diff?

Pretty thin on the ground these days, lucky to find a good one. I'm about to fit a VN BorgWarner to my HJ. All brackets done, just cleaning for paint, rekit calipers, new brake lines/hoses. Just on a grand so far but will outlast anything original.

Did you have to get it narrowed? I bought an HT ute with Commodore V8 running gear and the rear wheels are rubbing on the guards because the diff is too wide. Im going to pull it out and modify it but I think the VL diffs are a better fit

No, VN is only 5mm narrower each side. I removed std brackets, supplied spare banjo, they welded it all together.

Umm, I have a VL diff for sale too, which is about 45mm narrower than VN.

No-ones mentioned putting the best diff in yet. But I won't be one-eyed.

Yep those Ford Bonus diffs were popular but very hard to find now.

At least with the Commodore diff you will get 4 wheel disc brakes and parts aplenty.

I wouldn't call the need for parts availability a plus. And brakes can be whatever you desire.
