2005 Nissan Note

Just wondering if someone can give me some guidance. I have a 2005 Nissan Note and first thing in the morning when i go to start my car (even if I leave the car running to warm up for 5 mins) i have trouble with the auto changing gears. It runs at high revs until it warms up and then seems to drive ok. after work today, when i tried to accelerate, the car felt it didn't want to go anywhere, i could only get up to about 50rpm and the car just didn't want to go. after about 10 mins driving, it came right and away it went. any suggestions? I just don't want to get ripped off being a female. thanks in advance for any help. Regards

deejoy . before doing anything else have the CVT tranz fluid level checked.
I wouldn't be driving anywhere until you have established there is the correct level of CVT fluid

ok, will get that done, do i take it to a garage or transmission place or a nissan place? Thanks

both the latter two should have the fluid it needs, its specific to those transmissions. If it does happen to be low you need to find out why.

How many km's has it done deejoy?
I hate to say it but those things have a very short life transmission, by all means get it topped up if it's low and see what happens, but you MUST use the correct fluid so be careful where you take it.
Unfortunately it may need to be removed/repaired, if it comes to that feel free to pop back and I might be able to put you in touch with a specialist repairer for those transmissions who could potentially be a lot cheaper and do a better job than most.
