BT-50 / Ranger 3.2 6 manual - DMF?

For towing. Yes - an auto may be more convenient these days. The earlier 3.0l had a DMF, does anybody know for sure if the newer 3.2 manual ranger/BT50 has? Towing 2.5 tonne load.

if its a diesel i would say it has a dmf or you be haring the gearbox rattle after a while in idle

No the don't have dmf. They are sac. Self adjusting clutch

rctr what has the self adjustment got to do with the dual mass? i just wonder as to how that is related?

Get the auto though, much better to drive.
My next one will be auto for sure.

yes they have a DMF, my last tow wagon being a 06 4x4 Hilux also had one, don't ride them, get off the clutch you wont have problems. I used to tow 3.5 ton plus behind the hilux. for any sort of hill start to save the clutch I would take off in low range 1st then go to 2nd,then swing across back to high range. I will do the same with my new ranger to ensure the clutch and DMF don't give me problems
