Do Subaru Legacy 2006+ come with multiple airbags?

howdy,
Just browsing Legacys and notice they generally seem to be advertised as two airbags, or worse "airbag/s" (no idication of amount!).
Would have thought multiple airbags would be in keeping with similar cars from compettiors, like Toyota Avensis & Mazda 6.
Does anyone know for sure, my google revealed nothing?

I think side airbags were optional on Subarus until the latest models. You do see the ocasional one with side airbags but the vast majority are only 2 airbags, even in the later models. I drove a 2012 model top of the range Impreza recently, and that was only 2 airbags as well.

Agreed you would have thought more. Most will be secondhand imports so might be different from nz new spec, and spec might vary widely on imports too.

Just googled 'how many airbags Subaru legacy 2007' and plenty of info popped up. They have multiple airbags (more than two). Maybe my "Google" is better than yours tho'.

With Japanese market models you need to check out each car individually - while the side and curtains were options they weren't equipped on a lot of those cars. Same goes for stuff like the V36 Skyline and various Mazda's.

A lot of latish model Japanese import vehicles have only two air bags.

Look or ask if they've got a tag on the side if the seat. (that covers seats) If they've got side bags, it will be stamped/moulded into the pillar covers.
