Haven't seen any high km examples yet personally but what I have seen of them hasn't revealed any serious issues a buyer needs to be aware of.

Depends what you want. Softroaders have become very popular as family cars that are easy to load and give good visibility being up high. And these seem to be very good ones. But it all comes at cost of lack of a great drive. If you like driving, enjoy a good set of corners, a conventional height wagon does a far better job, usually goes quicker and uses less feul too.
Horses for courses. There certainly better than the older real SUVs.

Does anyone tow with their CVT gearbox ? . I mean a caravan or boat rather than just a garden type trailer load ?
