I have a 2005 Triton double cab 2.8 diesel I bought new. It has done 250,000kms trouble free. Bigger tray than most newer utes, tows well.

Chinese MG GS small suv gets 5 stars from Aus test. First one to do so.
The question is what is actually 'decent' for twice the price? If anybody thinks that all these Thai built pickups sold under supposedly good brands are somehow trouble free, even within warranty, then they need a reality check. Some have been absolute lemons, it just doesn't get talked about so much. Wait until the LDV has been on the market a few years and THEN judge.
I bought a cheap, shitty, pink USB charger From China I plugged in my super-expensive iPad And it went bang Smoke came out of every corner and now it's completely dead and I know it's lucky I'm not because I got a cheap shitty pink USB charger from China

Think what you want, its the truth. It's all cheap junk built to a price at the end of the day. its just that some of you choose to pay a lot more for it lol. Go look up who makes the engine in the LDV and then come back and tell the forum who else selling pickup trucks uses engines from that manufacturer, I dare ya.
vm motori which is owned by fiat. same engine as the v80 with a different bore size. The engine uses Bosch electrics and control units. Also uses a punch powerglide 6sp trans which is French didn't Google I already knew.

It's possible this will be a turning point in our judgement of Chinese made vehicles. Certainly there's a lot of the LDV vans around and a few couriers racked up big miles happily. This isn't some shitty little Chinese outfit trying for the big time. They are in it. Op, in a recent NZ autocar they looked at some background and tried the new ute. Might be at library. Think a few prejudices will be pushed aside soon.
took ldv t60 for a drive really nice to drive plus a 5 year warranty

I hope you are speaking figuratively. Otherwise you never check anything or have your vehicle serviced.

$33490 + orc is price for roo spec. Also a mitsi does not have half the amount of features as the t60
tim41,

Because they are so underpowered it takes forever to get any where, that's why they go for ever.

Have you been perving in my windows again? I got the idea from you since you like your sheep shagger so much.
